Position: Cook - Part-time On Call

   Job Description Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, and other times as scheduled Hourly salary: $8.58 an hour Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least one (1) year of successful experience in institutional food preparation. Summary of Duties: Prepares meals, oversees food serving and supervises kitchen and dining area cleaning.

Position: Resident Monitor On Call   Job Description Work Schedule: Work shift rotates; 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Hourly salary: $9.76 an hour Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Possession of a valid Ohio Driver License and a good driving record. Background in law enforcement or corrections preferred. Skills and Abilities required: Ability to supervise others. Ability to communicate instructions. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures. Ability to work under stressful conditions. Ability to maintain records and prepare routine reports. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, associates, supervisors and the general public. Ability to recognize abnormal conditions and take appropriate action. Skills in oral and written communications. Skills in problem resolution/decision making. Ability to take a team approach in all activities. Knowledge of human relations. Ability to maintain records and prepare routine reports. Knowledge of and ability to use various computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Position: Primary Counselor   Job Description Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday - 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hourly salary: $13.64 an hour Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or closely related field. At least one year of successful work experience in mental health, substance abuse, corrections, a related field within the past five years. Licensure, in good standing, from the Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board, Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, or related credentialing board preferred. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and a good driving record. Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Has working knowledge and experience with individual and group counseling and case management of correctional populations including knowledge of relevant correctional counseling theories, assessment tools, specific levels of correctional supervision, referral systems, and service delivery models of such.
